AN ACT in relation to authorizing the town of Mamaroneck and the village
  of Mamaroneck to designate a portion of New York Route 1 as  a  school
  zone

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions  of  the  highway  law,  the
vehicle  and  traffic law or any other laws to the contrary, the town of
Mamaroneck and the village of Mamaroneck are hereby authorized to desig-
nate a school speed zone on West Boston Post Road (United  States  Route
1) with a posted speed limit of 20 miles per hour, effective school days
between  7 AM and 5 PM, to be located between the entrance of Mamaroneck
town hall, 740 West Boston Post Road and Richbell Road in the village of
Mamaroneck.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT in relation to authorizing the village of Mamaroneck to designate
  a portion of United States Route 1 as a school zone

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
