AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to sex trafficking of persons
  less than eighteen years old

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Paragraph (h) of subdivision 5 of  section  230.34  of  the
penal  law, as added by chapter 74 of the laws of 2007, is amended and a
new subdivision 6 is added to read as follows:
  (h) perform any other act which would not in itself materially benefit
the actor but which is calculated to harm the person who  is  patronized
materially  with  respect  to  his or her health, safety, or immigration
status[.]; OR
  6. KNOWINGLY ADVANCING PROSTITUTION OF A  PERSON  LESS  THAN  EIGHTEEN
YEARS OLD.
  S  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
have become a law.
