AN ACT to authorize the village of Hudson Falls, in the county of  Wash-
  ington, to discontinue use of certain parkland

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subject to the provisions  of  this  act,  the  village  of
Hudson  Falls, in the county of Washington, is hereby authorized, acting
by and through its board of trustees, to discontinue the use as parkland
of the parcel described in section two of this  act,  and  to  use  such
parcel for municipal parking.
  S  2.    For  the  purposes of this act, the description of the parcel
authorized to be discontinued as parkland is described as follows:
  All that tract or parcel of land situated in  the  village  of  Hudson
Falls, in the county of Washington, bordered on the west by Main street,
on  the  north  by Clark street, on the east by land owned by the Hudson
Falls central school district and on the south by Locust  street,  which
is  more  particularly depicted on a "Map of a Planemetric & Topographic
Survey" of lands of the village of Hudson  Falls,  dated  September  10,
2015,  by  Darrah  Land  Surveying,  PLLC, containing approximately 2.84
acres.
  S 3.  The authorization, granted pursuant to section one of this  act,
shall be subject to a requirement that the village of Hudson Falls dedi-
cate  an  amount  equal  to or greater than the fair market value of the
parcel, described in section two of this act, for  capital  improvements
of  existing  park and recreational facilities and/or for acquisition of
additional park and recreational facilities.
  S 4. This act shall take effect immediately.

  S  4. In the event that the village of Hudson Falls received any fund-
ing support or assistance from the federal government for the  purchase,
maintenance or improvement of the  parklands set forth in section two of
this  act,  discontinuance and alienation of such parkland authorized by
the provisions of section two of this act  shall  not  occur  until  the
village  of  Hudson  Falls  has  complied  with any federal requirements
