BILL NUMBER:S5024 TITLE OF BILL: An act authorizing the Saratoga County Water Authority, County of Saratoga to effectuate a lot line adjustment involving a portion of reforested lands in the town of Moreau PURPOSE: To allow the Saratoga County Water Authority and the County of Saratoga to complete an equitable transfer of real property for the water authority to make improvements and upgrades to its water treatment plant. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 provides the Saratoga County Water Authority in the county of Saratoga, acting by and through the county board of supervisors, to effectuate a lot line adjustment involving a portion of reforested lands described in section two. Section 2 is the updated real property deed description to correct a previous deed between the Saratoga County Water Authority and the County of Saratoga.

MARCHIONE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government AN ACT authorizing the Saratoga County Water Authority, County of Sara- toga to effectuate a lot line adjustment involving a portion of refor- ested lands in the town of Moreau THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding section 219 of the county law to the contrary, the Saratoga County Water Authority in the county of Saratoga, is hereby authorized, acting by and through its county board of supervi- sors and upon such terms and conditions as determined by such board of supervisors, to effectuate a lot line adjustment involving a portion of reforested lands described in section two of this act. S 2. The real property authorized to be adjusted by the county of Saratoga pursuant to section one of this act shall be bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point at the intersection of the southeasterly boundary of Butler Road with the division line between the lands now or formerly of the County of Saratoga as described in Book 375 of Deeds at Page 429 on the south and the lands now or formerly of National Grid, lands formerly of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation on the North, said point being marked by a capped iron rod labeled "CT Male" and runs thence from said POINT of BEGINNING along the above mentioned division line S80°-05'-11"E (113.23) feet to its intersection with the division line between the lands now or formerly of the County of Saratoga on the southwest and the lands now or formerly of Riverview Galusha, LLC as described in Book 1764 of Deeds at Page 708 on the northeast, said point being marked by an iron pipe; thence S25°-36'-20"E (1,149.05) feet to a point; thence through the lands now or formerly of the County of Sarato- ga the following two (2) courses: 1) S64°-23'-40"W (780.00) feet to a point and 2) N25°-36'-20"W (1,234.62) feet to a point on the above EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
