DINOWITZ -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Operations AN ACT authorizing the commissioner of general services to sell and convey certain land located in the city of New York to Montefiore Medical Center THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The commissioner of general services is authorized and empowered to sell and convey state property, as further described in section two of this act for fair market value to the Montefiore Medical Center, a not-for-profit hospital licensed pursuant to article 28 of the public health law, whose medical campus is immediately adjacent to the aforementioned state property operated by the office of children and family services, said sale and conveyance shall be made upon such terms and conditions as he or she may fix and determine. S 2. The lands authorized by this act to be conveyed are more partic- ularly described as follows: All that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, known as 170 East 210th Street with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the city of New York, coun- ty of Bronx and state of New York, designated as block 3343, lot 326 on a tax map of the city of New York and being more particularly bounded and described as follows: on the southerly side of East 210th Street, 0 feet easterly from the intersection of the southerly side of East 210th Street and easterly side of Bainbridge Avenue; running thence along the southerly side of East 210th Street easterly 150 feet; thence southerly along a line parallel to the easterly side of Bainbridge Avenue 100 feet; thence westerly along a line parallel to the southerly side of East 210th Street 150 feet; thence along the easterly side of Bainbridge Avenue 100 feet to the point of place of beginning. S 3. The description in section two of this act of the lands to be conveyed is not intended to be a legal description, but is intended only to identify the premises to be conveyed. As a condition of purchase the Montefiore Medical Center shall submit to the commissioner of general services for his or her approval an accurate survey and description of EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
