AN  ACT  to  amend  the public buildings law, in relation to designating
  certain state agency buildings after Elizabeth Cady  Stanton,  Shirley
  Chisholm, Eleanor Roosevelt and Sonia Sotomayor

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The public buildings law is amended by adding a new section
2-d to read as follows:
  S 2-D. ELIZABETH CADY STANTON, SHIRLEY CHISHOLM, ELEANOR ROOSEVELT AND
SONIA SOTOMAYOR BUILDINGS. 1. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW
TO THE CONTRARY, BUILDINGS COMMONLY KNOWN AND REFERRED TO AS STATE AGEN-
CY BUILDINGS 1, 2, 3, AND 4 SITUATED IN THE GOVERNOR NELSON A. ROCKEFEL-
LER EMPIRE STATE PLAZA IN ALBANY, NEW YORK, ARE RESPECTIVELY  DESIGNATED
THE  ELIZABETH  CADY  STANTON,  SHIRLEY  CHISHOLM, ELEANOR ROOSEVELT AND
SONIA SOTOMAYOR BUILDINGS.
  2. THE COMMISSIONER SHALL IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION AND
CAUSE SUCH BUILDINGS TO BE DESIGNATED WITH STONE MARKERS.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
