AN ACT authorizing the office of general services to prepare  a  compre-
  hensive  study  and report on the present status and potential uses of
  all state-owned surplus property in  Richmond  county,  including  the
  Outerbridge park-and-ride

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The office of general services shall prepare  a  comprehen-
sive  study  and  report on the present status and potential uses of all
state-owned surplus property in Richmond county,  including  the  Outer-
bridge  park-and-ride,  and  all properties within the boundaries of the
mapped Korean War Veterans Highway.
  S 2. The commissioner of general services shall make a report  to  the
governor and the legislature of findings, conclusions and recommendation
prepared  from such comprehensive study no later than one year after the
effective date of this act and shall submit with its report such  legis-
lative proposals as it deems necessary to implement its recommendation.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
