CAHILL -- (at request of the State Education Department) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT to repeal paragraph (f) of subdivision 6 of section 6506 of the education law relating to supervision by the board of regents, subdi- vision 6 of section 6524 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a physician, subdivision 6 of section 6554 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a chiroprac- tor, subdivision 6 of section 6604 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a dentist, subdivision 6 of section 6609 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a dental hygienist, subdivision 6 of section 6704 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a veterinarian, subdivision 6 of section 6711 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a veterinary technician, paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 6805 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a pharmacist, subdivision 6 of section 6955 of the educa- tion law relating to the requirements for a license as a midwife, paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7206 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a professional engineer, paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7206-a of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a professional land surveyor, paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7324 of the educa- tion law relating to the requirements for a license as a landscape architect, paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7504 of the educa- tion law relating to requirements for a license as a certified short- hand reporter and subdivision 5 of section 7804 of the education law relating to requirements for a license as a massage therapist, masseur or masseuse THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (f) of subdivision 6 of section 6506 of the education law is REPEALED. S 2. Subdivision 6 of section 6524 of the education law is REPEALED. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
