S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 9926 I N A S S E M B L Y April 27, 2016 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. GIGLIO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities AN ACT to amend the general city law, in relation to exempting the city of Olean from article four of the general city law THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 57 of the general city law, as separately amended by chapters 639 and 661 of the laws of 1993, is amended to read as follows: 1. This article shall not apply to any of the following cities: New York, Binghamton, Schenectady, Elmira, Beacon, Hornell, OLEAN and Pough- keepsie. S 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13662-01-6
