AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to  the  taxation
  of state lands in the county of Westchester

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subdivision (d) of section 532 of  the  real  property  tax
law,  as  amended by chapter 364 of the laws of 2004, is amended to read
as follows:
  (d) All lands in the counties  of  Rockland,  WESTCHESTER  and  Putnam
acquired  for  a  public use by the state, exclusive of the improvements
erected thereon by the state;
  S 2. Subdivision 1 of section 536 of the  real  property  tax  law  is
amended by adding a new paragraph (h) to read as follows:
  (H)  LANDS  OWNED  BY THE STATE, EXCLUSIVE OF THE IMPROVEMENTS ERECTED
THEREON BY THE STATE, SITUATE IN THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
