BICHOTTE -- (at request of the Office of Tempo- rary and Disability Assistance) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Social Services AN ACT to repeal subdivision 19 of section 246 of chapter 81 of the laws of 1995, relating to the enforcement of support through the suspension of driving privileges THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 19 of section 246 of chapter 81 of the laws of 1995, relating to the enforcement of support through the suspension of driving privileges, is REPEALED. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after June 30, 2015. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD09606-01-5

BICHOTTE -- (at request of the Office of Tempo- rary and Disability Assistance) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Social Services -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend subdivision 19 of section 246 of chapter 81 of the laws of 1995, amending the vehicle and traffic law and other laws relating to the enforcement of support through the suspension of driving privi- leges, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 19 of section 246 of chapter 81 of the laws of 1995, amending the vehicle and traffic laws and other laws relating to the enforcement of support through the suspension of driving privileges, as amended by chapter 87 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows: 19. Sections two hundred one, two hundred eight, two hundred eleven, two hundred thirteen, two hundred fifteen and two hundred sixteen of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed on [June 30, 2015] AUGUST 31, 2017. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after June 30, 2015.
