PAULIN, DINOWITZ, ROBINSON, COLTON, BLAKE -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. KAMINSKY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to sex trafficking of persons less than eighteen years old THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (h) of subdivision 5 of section 230.34 of the penal law, as added by chapter 74 of the laws of 2007, is amended and a new subdivision 6 is added to read as follows: (h) perform any other act which would not in itself materially benefit the actor but which is calculated to harm the person who is patronized materially with respect to his or her health, safety, or immigration status[.]; OR 6. KNOWINGLY ADVANCING PROSTITUTION OF A PERSON LESS THAN EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD. S 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall have become a law.
