 AN ACT to amend the real property law, in relation to defining  a  manu-
   factured home park
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Paragraph 3 of subdivision a of section  233  of  the  real
 property  law, as amended by chapter 566 of the laws of 1996, is amended
 to read as follows:
   3. The term "manufactured home park"  means  a  contiguous  parcel  of
 privately  owned  land  which  is used for the accommodation of three or
 more manufactured homes occupied [for year-round living] AS A RESIDENCE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
