 AN  ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to prohibiting
   the imposition of additional fees, costs or assessments for violations
   of red traffic-control signal indications
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1. Section 1111-b of the vehicle and traffic law, as added by
 chapter 19 of the laws of 2009, is amended by adding a  new  subdivision
 (e-1) to read as follows:
   (E-1)  NO  LOCAL  LAW  OR ORDINANCE SHALL BE ADOPTED WHICH IMPOSES ANY
 ADDITIONAL FEES, COSTS OR ASSESSMENTS FOR A VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION (D)
 OF SECTION ELEVEN HUNDRED ELEVEN OF THIS  ARTICLE  OTHER  THAN  WHAT  IS
 AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION (E) OF THIS SECTION.
   §  2. Section 1111-b of the vehicle and traffic law, as added by chap-
 ter 20 of the laws of 2009, is amended by adding a new subdivision (e-1)
 to read as follows:
   (E-1) NO LOCAL LAW OR ORDINANCE SHALL BE  ADOPTED  WHICH  IMPOSES  ANY
 ADDITIONAL FEES, COSTS OR ASSESSMENTS FOR A VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION (D)
 OF  SECTION  ELEVEN  HUNDRED  ELEVEN  OF THIS ARTICLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS
 AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION (E) OF THIS SECTION.

 ter 22 of the laws of 2009, is amended by adding a new subdivision (e-1)
 to read as follows:

 ADDITIONAL FEES, COSTS OR ASSESSMENTS FOR A VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION (D)

 ADDITIONAL FEES, COSTS OR ASSESSMENTS FOR A VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION (D)
