COOK, GLICK, RAMOS, SIMON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to designating certain substances as schedule I opiates THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision (b) of schedule I of section 3306 of the public health law is amended by adding three new paragraphs 56, 57, and 58 to read as follows: (56) ACETYLFENTANYL (N-(1-PHENETHYLPIPERIDIN-4-YL)-N-PHENYLACETAMIDE). (57) BUTYRYL FENTANYL (N-(1-PHENETHYLPIPERIDIN-4-YL) -N-PHENYLBUTYRAM- IDE), ITS ISOMERS, ESTERS, ETHERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS, ESTERS AND ETHERS. (58) BETA-HYDROXYTHIOFENTANYL (N-[1-[2-hydroxy-2-(thiophen-2-yl) ETHYL]PIPERIDIN-4-YL]-N-PHENYLPROPIONAMIDE), ITS ISOMERS, ESTERS, ETHERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS, ESTERS AND ETHERS. § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD01745-01-7
