 AN ACT to amend the state law, in relation to naming the wood  frog  the
   official amphibian of the state of New York

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The state law is amended by adding a new section 91 to read
 as follows:
   § 91. STATE AMPHIBIAN. THE WOOD FROG (LITHOBATES SYLVATICUS) SHALL  BE
 THE OFFICIAL AMPHIBIAN OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
