 AN  ACT limiting the power of the governor to give an executive order or
   otherwise direct an executive agency to take any action  that  contra-
   dicts  state  law;  and  to repeal certain provisions of the labor law
   relating thereto
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  The  governor shall not issue any executive order or give
 any direction to any executive agency to take any  action  that  contra-
 dicts any current state law.
   § 2. Subdivision 6 of section 652 of the labor law is REPEALED.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
