Extends a provision of law relating to litter and solid waste control; extends a provision of law allowing the city of New York, Nassau county and Suffolk county to retain twenty-five percent of all monies collected as fines or penalties for enforcement of section 27-1005 of the environmental conservation law.

   once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
 
 AN  ACT  to  amend part F of chapter 58 of the laws of 2013 amending the
   environmental conservation law and the state finance law  relating  to
   the  "Cleaner,  Greener  NY Act of 2013", in relation to extending the
   effectiveness thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  12  of  part F of chapter 58 of the laws of 2013
 amending the environmental conservation law and the  state  finance  law
 relating to the "Cleaner, Greener NY Act of 2013", as amended by section
 1  of  part  DD of chapter 58 of the laws of 2015, is amended to read as
 follows:
   § 12. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  be  deemed  to
 have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2013; provided,
 however,  that  the  amendments to subdivision 5-a of section 27-1015 of
 the environmental conservation law, as added by  section  nine  of  this
 act, shall expire and be deemed repealed on April 1, [2017] 2019.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
