 AN ACT in relation to properties receiving a 480-a tax exemption
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Any  amendments to section 480-a of the real property tax
 law initiated by the state's department  of  environmental  conservation
 shall  only apply to applications made on or after the effective date of
 this act.
