 AN  ACT  to  amend the real property tax law, in relation to taxation of
   state lands in the town of Bedford in Westchester county
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  532  of  the real property tax law is amended by
 adding a new subdivision (k) to read as follows:
   (K) ALL LANDS OWNED BY THE STATE IN THE TOWN OF BEDFORD IN WESTCHESTER
 COUNTY, EXCLUSIVE OF THE IMPROVEMENTS ERECTED THEREON BY THE STATE.
   § 2. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 536 of the real proper-
 ty tax law is amended to read as follows:
   (b) Lands owned by the state, exclusive of  the  improvements  erected
 thereon by the state, situate in the following towns:

                                         South Valley

  EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
