S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 6530 2017-2018 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y March 9, 2017 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. HAWLEY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend chapter 68 of the laws of 2015, amending the environ- mental conservation law, relating to authorizing hunting in the county of Genesee, in relation to making such provisions permanent THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 68 of the laws of 2015, amending the environmental conservation law, relating to authorizing hunting in the county of Genesee, is amended to read as follows: § 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that: a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall [be subject to] SURVIVE the expiration and reversion of such para- graph [pursuant to] AS PROVIDED IN section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; b. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section two of this act shall [be subject to] SURVIVE the expiration and reversion of such para- graph [pursuant to] AS PROVIDED IN section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended, and shall [not affect] SURVIVE the expiration of such item, [pursuant to] AS PROVIDED IN section 3 of chapter 142 of the laws of 2014, as amended[; and c. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2017, when upon such date this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be deemed repealed]. § 2. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (l) to read as follows: (L) THE COUNTY OF DEER AND BEAR, THE PISTOL, SHOTGUN, GENESEE FIRST SATURDAY AFTER CROSSBOW, MUZZLE NOVEMBER 15 THROUGH LOADING FIREARM, FIRST SUNDAY AFTER RIFLE OR LONG DECEMBER 7 BOW ONLY § 2. Section 3 of chapter 68 of the laws of 2015, amending the envi- ronmental conservation law, relating to authorizing hunting in the coun- ty of Genesee, is amended to read as follows: § 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that: a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; AND b. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section two of this act EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
