 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  environmental  conservation law, in relation to
   requiring printer manufacturers to provide warnings of  emissions  and
   to install filtration systems in each printer

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Article 19 of the environmental conservation law is amended
 by adding a new title 13 to read as follows:
                                 TITLE 13
       PRINTER EMISSIONS WARNING AND FILTRATION SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
 SECTION 19-1301. PRINTER  EMISSIONS  WARNING   AND   FILTRATION   SYSTEM
                    REQUIREMENTS.
 § 19-1301. PRINTER EMISSIONS WARNING AND FILTRATION SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
   1. NO PRINTER SHALL BE MANUFACTURED IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK UNLESS IT
 CONTAINS  A  WARNING  STATING  "WARNING: PRINTERS EMIT HARMFUL PARTICLES
 WHICH MAY IMPACT YOUR HEALTH".
   2. EACH PRINTER MANUFACTURED IN THE STATE OF NEW  YORK  SHALL  HAVE  A
 FILTRATION SYSTEM COMPONENT.
   §  2. The commissioner of environmental conservation shall adopt regu-
 lations consistent with this act.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
