 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  executive law, in relation to the disclosure of
   charitable fund disbursements after donations
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The executive law is amended by adding a new section 178 to
 read as follows:
   §  178.  DISCLOSURE  OF CHARITABLE FUND DISBURSEMENTS AFTER DONATIONS.
 NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION OF LAW TO  THE  CONTRARY,  ANY  CHARITABLE
 ORGANIZATION,  OR  PROFESSIONAL  FUNDRAISER,  OR  PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR
 ACTING ON BEHALF OF A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, SHALL DISCLOSE TO  DONORS
 THE ALLOCATION OF DISBURSEMENTS OF THEIR DONATION ON ANY WRITTEN FORM OF
 COMMUNICATION  SENT FOLLOWING A DONATION. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL INCLUDE
 THE SUM OF MONEY THAT WENT DIRECTLY TOWARD HELPING  WITH  THE  CHARITY'S
 CHARITABLE  WORK  AND  THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF THAT DONATION THAT WAS ALLO-
 CATED TOWARD OTHER PURPOSES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED  TO,  ADMINISTRA-
 TIVE EXPENSES.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
