 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  insurance law, in relation to three-dimensional
   mammograms
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Paragraph 3 of subsection (t) of section 1121 of the insur-
 ance  law,  as  added  by chapter 639 of the laws of 1996, is amended to
 read as follows:
   (3) Mammography screening INCLUDING TOMOSYNTHESIS IMAGING.
   § 2. Subparagraphs (C) and (F) of paragraph 11 of  subsection  (i)  of
 section  3216 of the insurance law, subparagraph (C) as amended by chap-
 ter 219 of the laws of 2011 and subparagraph (F) as added by chapter  74
 of the laws of 2016, are amended to read as follows:
   (C)  For  purposes  of  subparagraphs  (A)  and (B) of this paragraph,
 mammography screening means an X-ray examination  of  the  breast  using
 dedicated  equipment,  including X-ray tube, filter, compression device,
 screens, films and cassettes, with an average glandular  radiation  dose
 less than 0.5 rem per view per breast, OR TOMOSYNTHESIS IMAGING.
   (F)  Screening  and  diagnostic  imaging  for  the detection of breast
 cancer,  including  diagnostic  mammograms,  breast  ultrasounds,   [or]
 magnetic  resonance  imaging, OR TOMOSYNTHESIS IMAGING covered under the
 policy shall not be subject to annual deductibles or coinsurance.
   § 3. Subparagraphs (C) and (F) of paragraph 11 of  subsection  (l)  of
 section  3221 of the insurance law, subparagraph (C) as amended by chap-
 ter 219 of the laws of 2011 and subparagraph (F) as added by chapter  74
 of the laws of 2016, are amended to read as follows:
   (C)  For  purposes  of  subparagraphs  (A)  and (B) of this paragraph,
 mammography screening means an X-ray examination  of  the  breast  using
 dedicated  equipment,  including X-ray tube, filter, compression device,
