 Introduced  by Sen. GIANARIS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
   and Commissions
 
 AN  ACT to amend chapter 802 of the laws of 1947, relating to facilitat-
   ing the financing and effectuation of air terminals by the Port of New
   York Authority, in relation to prohibiting the provision of assistance
   in the enforcement of a certain United States Executive Order relating
   to protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry, at the  facili-
   ties of such port authority
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Chapter 802 of the laws of 1947, relating  to  facilitating
 the  financing and effectuation of air terminals by the Port of New York
 Authority, is amended by adding a new section 10-a to read as follows:
   § 10-A. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION  OF  LAW  TO  THE  CONTRARY,  NO
 EMPLOYEE  OR  OFFICER  OF  THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY
 SHALL PROVIDE ANY AID, RESOURCES, ASSISTANCE, OR SUPPORT TO ANY  FEDERAL
 EMPLOYEE  OR  REPRESENTATIVE  IN  ENFORCING  THE  PROVISIONS OF A UNITED
 STATES EXECUTIVE ORDER ISSUED ON JANUARY 27, 2017  REGARDING  PROTECTING
 THE  NATION FROM FOREIGN TERRORIST ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES, NOR MAY
 ANY RESOURCES OR FACILITIES OF THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW  YORK  AND  NEW
 JERSEY BE USED FOR SUCH PURPOSE.
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect upon the enactment into law by the
 state of New Jersey of legislation having an identical  effect;  but  if
 the  state  of  New  Jersey shall have already enacted such legislation,
 then this act shall take effect immediately and provided that the  state
 of New Jersey shall notify the legislative bill drafting commission upon
 the  occurrence  of the enactment of the provisions provided for in this
 act in order that the commission may maintain  an  accurate  and  timely
 effective data base of the official text of the laws of the state of New
 York  in  furtherance  of  effecting the provisions of section 44 of the
 legislative law and section 70-b of the public officers law.
