 Introduced  by  Sen.  SEWARD -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT to continue the existence of the  village  of  Groton  industrial
   development agency
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (b) of subdivi-
 sion 1 of section  856  of  the  general  municipal  law  or  any  other
 provision  of  law  to  the  contrary,  the village of Groton industrial
 development agency, as created by section 926-i of the general municipal
 law, shall continue in existence, regardless of whether such  industrial
 development  agency  has  any  outstanding bonds or other obligations 10
 years after coming into existence or thereafter.
   ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  be  deemed  to
 have been in full force and effect on and after July 20, 2003.
