 Introduced  by  Sen.  O'MARA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
 
 AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation  to  prohibiting
   the  metropolitan transportation authority from disallowing the adver-
   tisement of alcohol products
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  14 of section 1265 of the public authorities
 law, as renumbered by chapter 634 of the laws  of  1965,  is  renumbered
 subdivision 15 and a new subdivision 14 is added to read as follows:
   14.  THE  AUTHORITY SHALL NOT DISALLOW ADVERTISEMENTS THAT PROMOTE ANY
 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE, AS DEFINED IN SUBDIVISION ONE OF  SECTION  THREE  OF
 THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL LAW, ON ANY PROPERTY OWNED OR OPERATED BY
 THE AUTHORITY. ANY SUCH DISALLOWANCE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ADVERTISEMENT
 SHALL BE VOIDED.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
