 Introduced  by  Sen.  O'MARA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT to amend the county law, in relation to authorizing the county of
   Tompkins to appropriate and contract for the development, maintenance,
   and management of affordable housing
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  224 of the county law is amended by adding a new
 subdivision 29 to read as follows:
   (29) DEVELOPMENT, MAINTENANCE, AND MANAGEMENT  OF  AFFORDABLE  HOUSING
 LOCATED WITHIN THE COUNTY OF TOMPKINS.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
