NOLAN, GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend section 4 of part M of chapter 56 of the laws of 2012 amending the education law, relating to authorizing contracts for the provision of special education and related services for certain patients hospitalized in hospitals operated by the office of mental health, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of part M of chapter 56 of the laws of 2012 amending the education law, relating to authorizing contracts for the provision of special education and related services for certain patients hospitalized in hospitals operated by the office of mental health, as amended by section 4 of part KK of chapter 58 of the laws of 2015, is amended to read as follows: § 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2012 and shall expire June 30, [2018] 2021, when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15472-01-8
