CAHILL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT authorizing the commissioner of general services to convey certain unused state lands to MCB-Eagle New Paltz, LLC THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act and notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner of general services, upon the consent of the commissioner of the department of environmental conservation, is hereby authorized and empowered to trans- fer and convey to MCB-Eagle New Paltz, LLC, certain unused state land consisting of a portion of the Department of Environmental Conservation Region 3 Headquarters under the jurisdiction of the department of envi- ronmental conservation, in consideration of fair market value and upon such other terms and conditions as the commissioner of general services may deem proper. § 2. The land authorized to be transferred and conveyed pursuant to this act is a portion of the department of environmental conservation region 3 headquarters and is generally described as follows: ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of New Paltz, County of Ulster, and State of New York being more particularly bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the westerly bounds of South Putt Corners Road and at the southerly corner of lands of MCB-Eagle New Paltz, LLC, L. 6101 - P.21; THENCE from said point of beginning and following the said road bounds South 23 degrees 22 minutes 16 seconds West a distance of 15.02 feet to a point; THENCE running through the lands of The People of the State of New York, L. 1168 - P.465 (NYS Department of Environmental Conservation) North 63 degrees 54 minutes 02 seconds West a distance of 587.59 feet to a point; EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
