 Introduced  by  Sen.  RIVERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 243 of the laws of 2004, authorizing the commis-
   sioner of general services to sell and convey certain state  lands  in
   the borough and county of Bronx to be used for housing and shelter for
   the  homeless  in New York city, in relation to authorizing such lands
   to be used for housing and sheltering destitute,  refugee,  delinquent
   and/or disabled persons
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Sections 1 and 5 of  chapter  243  of  the  laws  of  2004,
 authorizing  the  commissioner  of  general  services to sell and convey
 certain state lands in the borough and county of Bronx to  be  used  for
 housing  and  shelter  for the homeless in New York city, are amended to
 read as follows:
   Section 1. The commissioner  of  general  services  in  the  executive
 department is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, convey and trans-
 fer  to Catholic Home Bureau, a not-for-profit corporation organized and
 existing under the laws of the state of New York, located at 2322 Valen-
 tine Avenue, Bronx, New York including lands  and  improvements  thereon
 generally  bounded  and  described  in  section two of this act, for the
 purposes of providing housing and shelter for homeless, DESTITUTE, REFU-
 GEE, DELINQUENT AND/OR DISABLED persons in New York city.
   § 5. Any lands including improvements  thereon  conveyed  pursuant  to
 this act shall be used exclusively for the purposes of providing housing
 and shelter for homeless, DESTITUTE, REFUGEE, DELINQUENT AND/OR DISABLED
 persons  in  New  York  city. Upon termination of such use, title to the
 lands so transferred shall revert to the state of New York.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
