 AN ACT to amend the not-for-profit corporation law, in relation  to  the
   number of land banks located within the county of Clinton and the city
   of Plattsburgh
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 1603  of  the  not-for-profit  corporation  law  is
 amended by adding a new paragraph (g-1) to read as follows:
   (G-1)  NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS ACT, INCLUDING, BUT
 NOT LIMITED TO THE AUTHORIZATION FOR  NOT  MORE  THAN  THIRTY-FIVE  LAND
 BANKS  IN  THE  STATE  AT ONE TIME AS SET FORTH IN PARAGRAPH (G) OF THIS
 SECTION, THE COUNTY OF CLINTON IS AUTHORIZED TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE  LAND
 BANK AT ONE TIME AND, IN ADDITION, THE CITY OF PLATTSBURGH IS AUTHORIZED
 TO HAVE A LAND BANK.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
