 AN ACT extending the certification of certain school bus drivers
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any
 individual certified as a school bus driver pursuant to  the  provisions
 of  part  5  of article 73 of the education law for the 2019-2020 school
 year shall automatically retain such  certification  for  the  2020-2021
 school year.
