   Otis, Simon, M. G. Miller, D'Urso) -- read once and  referred  to  the
   Committee on Labor
 
 AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to personal protective equip-
   ment standards for employers
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The labor law is amended by adding a new section  202-n  to
 read as follows:
   §  202-N.  PERSONAL  PROTECTIVE  EQUIPMENT STANDARDS. 1. ALL EMPLOYERS
 SHALL PROVIDE THEIR EMPLOYEES WITH ACCESS TO SURGICAL MASKS OR  RESPIRA-
 TORS,  AND DISPOSABLE LATEX OR NITRILE GLOVES AT NO COST TO SUCH EMPLOY-
 EES.
   2. ALL EMPLOYERS SHALL MAINTAIN AT LEAST A ONE-MONTH SUPPLY OF  SURGI-
 CAL  MASKS  OR  RESPIRATORS,  AND DISPOSABLE LATEX OR NITRILE GLOVES, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE COMMISSIONER.
   3. THE COMMISSIONER SHALL PROMULGATE SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS NECES-
 SARY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.
   § 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2021.  Effective immediate-
 ly, the addition, amendment and/or repeal  of  any  rule  or  regulation
 necessary  for  the implementation of this act on its effective date are
 authorized to be made and completed on or before such effective date.
