AN ACT to repeal article 51 of the insurance law, in relation to no
fault insurance
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Article 51 of the insurance law is REPEALED.
§ 2. Within 60 days of the effective date of this act, the superinten-
dent of financial services shall review and recommend to the governor,
the temporary president of the senate, and the speaker of the assembly
any other provisions of law which require amendments or repeal thereof.
§ 3. This act shall take effect five years after it shall have become
a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amendment and/or repeal of
any rule or regulation necessary for the implementation of this act on
its effective date are authorized to be made and completed on or before
such effective date.
