 AN ACT to amend the state finance law, in relation to  the  rededication
   of unused funds in the New York state local government records manage-
   ment improvement fund
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 97-i of the state finance law is amended by  adding
 a new subdivision 5 to read as follows:
   5.  IN ALL CASES, NO MONIES REMAINING IN THE FUND SHALL BE TRANSFERRED
 OR ALLOCATED, EXCEPT FOR THE PURPOSES PROVIDED FOR UNDER THIS SECTION.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
