 AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to the casting of votes in
   New York city

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. The opening paragraph of subdivision 6 of section 7-116 of
 the election law is amended to read as follows:
   In the city of New York, the ballot [on the voting machine]  USED  FOR
 CASTING  A  VOTE  for  primary  elections shall conform to the following
 additional provisions:
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
