 AN ACT to amend the general business law,  in  relation  to  prohibiting
   motor  vehicle  dealers  from advertising lease specials for a limited
   number of in stock vehicles which meet the advertised vehicle specifi-
   cations

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The general business law is amended by adding a new section
 349-f to read as follows:
   §  349-F.  MOTOR VEHICLE ADVERTISEMENT.   ANY ADVERTISEMENT BY A MOTOR
 VEHICLE DEALER ADVERTISING THE AMOUNT OF A  LEASE  SHALL  APPLY  TO  ALL
 MOTOR  VEHICLES  IN STOCK AT THE TIME THE ADVERTISEMENT WAS PLACED WHICH
 SHALL MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE ADVERTISED VEHICLE. SUCH ADVERTISE-
 MENT MAY NOT BE RESTRICTED TO A LIMITED NUMBER OF  SUCH  VEHICLES  WHICH
 MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE ADVERTISED VEHICLE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
