S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 4510 2019-2020 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y February 4, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. CRESPO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend the workers' compensation law, in relation to establish- ing the state insurance fund as the sole carrier for workers' compen- sation coverage; and to repeal certain provisions of such law relating thereto THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 50 of the workers' compensation law is amended to read as follows: 1. By insuring and keeping insured the payment of such compensation in the state fund[, or]. § 2. Subdivision 2 of section 50 of the workers' compensation law is REPEALED. § 3. This act shall take effect on the three hundred sixty-sixth day after it shall have become a law.
