 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  social services law, in relation to information
   provided to unlicensed or unregistered child day care providers by the
   office of children and family services
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 390 of the social services law is amended by adding
 a new subdivision 5-a to read as follows:
   5-A.  THE  OFFICE  OF  CHILDREN  AND FAMILY SERVICES SHALL PROVIDE ALL
 APPLICATIONS AND FORMS NECESSARY TO  BECOME  A  LICENSED  OR  REGISTERED
 CHILD  DAY  CARE  PROVIDER  IN ENGLISH, FRENCH, POLISH, AND THE SIX MOST
 COMMON NON-ENGLISH LANGUAGES SPOKEN BY INDIVIDUALS WITH  LIMITED-ENGLISH
 PROFICIENCY  IN  THE  STATE  OF  NEW YORK, BASED ON UNITED STATES CENSUS
 DATA.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
