 Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  CAHILL -- (at request of the State Education
   Department) -- read once and  referred  to  the  Committee  on  Higher
   Education
 
 AN  ACT  to repeal paragraph (f) of subdivision 6 of section 6506 of the
   education law relating to supervision by  the  board  of  regents;  to
   repeal  subdivision 6 of section 6524 of the education law relating to
   requirements for a license as a physician; to repeal subdivision 6  of
   section  6554  of  the  education  law  relating to requirements for a
   license as a chiropractor; to repeal subdivision 6 of section 6604  of
   the education law relating to requirements for a license as a dentist;
   to  repeal subdivision 6 of section 6609 of the education law relating
   to requirements for a license as a dental hygienist; to repeal  subdi-
   vision 6 of section 6704 of the education law relating to requirements
   for  a  license  as a veterinarian; to repeal subdivision 6 of section
   6711 of the education law; relating to requirements for a license as a
   veterinary technician; to repeal  paragraph  6  of  subdivision  1  of
   section  6805  of the education law relating to the requirements for a
   license as a pharmacist; to repeal subdivision 6 of  section  6955  of
   the  education  law  relating  to  the requirements for a license as a
   midwife; to repeal paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7206 of the
   education law relating to requirements for a license as a professional
   engineer; to repeal paragraph 6 of subdivision 1 of section 7206-a  of
   the  education law relating to requirements for a license as a profes-
   sional land surveyor; to  repeal  paragraph  6  of  subdivision  1  of
   section  7324  of  the  education  law  relating to requirements for a
   license as a landscape architect; to repeal paragraph 6 of subdivision
   1 of section 7504 of the education law relating to requirements for  a
   license  as a certified shorthand reporter; to repeal subdivision 5 of
   section 7804 of the education  law  relating  to  requirements  for  a
   license  as  a massage therapist, masseur, or a masseuse; and to amend
   chapter 658 of the laws of 2002, amending the education  law  relating
   to  citizenship requirements for permanent certification as a teacher,
   in relation to making such provisions permanent
