 AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to  the  allow-
   able  dimensions  and  weights  of  vehicles traveling on highways and
   bridges
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  16 of section 385 of the vehicle and traffic
 law is amended by adding a new paragraph (v) to read as follows:
   (V) OVER A ROUTE EXTENDING FROM THE OGDENSBURG PRESCOTT  INTERNATIONAL
 BRIDGE,  PROCEEDING SOUTH TO NEW YORK STATE ROUTE 37, AND THEN SOUTHWEST
 ALONG ROUTE 37, CONTINUING NORTHWEST ALONG  FORD  STREET  EXTENSION/FORD
 STREET,  TO  THE  PORT  OF  OGDENSBURG,  A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 1.7
 MILES.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
