S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 7547 2019-2020 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y May 9, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. PEOPLES-STOKES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to a quorum of the advisory council on lead poisoning prevention THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 1370-b of the public health law is renumbered subdivision 4, and a new subdivision 3 is added to read as follows: 3. A MAJORITY OF THE APPOINTED VOTING MEMBERSHIP OF THE COUNCIL SHALL CONSTITUTE A QUORUM. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD11125-01-9
