 AN ACT to amend the public lands law, in relation to requiring a list of
   real property owned by a state or local agency, public  authority,  or
   other political subdivision to be made publicly available

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of the public lands law is amended  by  adding  a
 new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
   2-A.  THE COMMISSIONER OF GENERAL SERVICES SHALL REQUIRE EACH STATE OR
 LOCAL AGENCY, PUBLIC AUTHORITY, OR OTHER POLITICAL  SUBDIVISION  OF  THE
 STATE  TO  LIST  THE  LOCATION,  SIZE, GENERAL NATURE, ACQUISITION DATE,
 MARKET VALUE AND PERCENTAGE OF OWNERSHIP OF ANY  REAL  PROPERTY.    SUCH
 LIST  SHALL  BE  MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE OF THE OFFICE OF
 GENERAL SERVICES AS WELL AS THE WEBSITE OF SUCH STATE OR  LOCAL  AGENCY,
 PUBLIC AUTHORITY, OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
