FALL -- (at request of the Metropolitan Transpor- tation Authority) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corpo- rations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend chapter 206 of the laws of 2010 amending the public authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan transporta- tion authority small business mentoring program, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 206 of the laws of 2010, amending the public authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan trans- portation authority small business mentoring program, is amended to read as follows: § 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December 31, [2019] 2029 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed; provided that such expiration shall not apply to pend- ing and awarded public work contracts and provided further that effec- tive immediately, the addition, amendment or repeal of any rule, regu- lation or standard necessary for the implementation of this act on its effective date are authorized and directed to be made and completed on or before such effective date. § 2.
