Sets the minimum amount of the foundation aid payable in the two thousand twenty--two thousand twenty-one school year at the total foundation aid base, plus the positive difference, if any, of the product of total foundation aid and seven-tenths (0.7) less the total foundation aid base.

 AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to foundation aid payable
   in the two thousand twenty--two thousand twenty-one school year
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  4  of  section  3602 of the education law is
 amended by adding a new paragraph h to read as follows:
   H. FOUNDATION AID PAYABLE IN THE  TWO  THOUSAND  TWENTY--TWO  THOUSAND
 TWENTY-ONE SCHOOL YEAR. AT A MINIMUM EVERY SCHOOL DISTRICT SHALL RECEIVE
 THE  TOTAL FOUNDATION AID BASE, PLUS THE POSITIVE DIFFERENCE, IF ANY, OF
 THE PRODUCT OF TOTAL FOUNDATION AID  AND  SEVEN-TENTHS  (0.7)  LESS  THE
 TOTAL FOUNDATION AID BASE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2020.
