LiPETRI -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Employees AN ACT to authorize Patrick Deery to receive 10 legacy credit points pursuant to section 85-a of the civil service law THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 85-a of the civil service law, or any other law to the contrary, Patrick Deery, of Massa- pequa Park, New York, shall be authorized to receive 10 legacy credit points pursuant to section 85-a of the civil service law. § 2. Patrick Deery shall otherwise be subject to the merit and fitness provisions of the civil service law applicable to full-time firefight- ers. § 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13379-01-9
