 AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and  breeding  law,  in
   relation to adjusting the tax on gaming revenues in region one
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision  1  of  section  1351  of  the
 racing,  pari-mutuel  wagering and breeding law, as added by chapter 174
 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
   (b) in region one, [thirty-nine] THIRTY-SEVEN percent of gross  gaming
 revenue  from  slot machines PROVIDED, HOWEVER, SUCH GAMING FACILITY, AS
 DEFINED IN SECTION THIRTEEN HUNDRED ONE OF THIS ARTICLE, HAS  MAINTAINED
 THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT EMPLOYEES AS  THEY  EMPLOYED  IN  THE
 YEAR TWO THOUSAND NINETEEN, and ten percent of gross gaming revenue from
 all other sources.
   §  2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed-
 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
