 AN ACT to amend the  social  services  law,  in  relation  to  requiring
   certain  entities to provide a website listing hotels and motels being
   used as homeless housing
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1. The social services law is amended by adding a new article
 2-B to read as follows:
 
                                ARTICLE 2-B
             ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS RELATED TO HOMELESS HOUSING
 SECTION 53. LOCAL HOMELESS HOUSING NOTIFICATION.
   § 53. LOCAL HOMELESS HOUSING NOTIFICATION.  1.    EVERY  LOCAL  SOCIAL
 SERVICES  OFFICE, MUNICIPALITY, NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION OR SUBSIDIARY
 THEREOF WHO CONTRACTS WITH A HOTEL, MOTEL OR OTHER SIMILAR ESTABLISHMENT
 TO PROVIDE HOUSING TO HOMELESS PERSONS SHALL MAKE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE  ON
 THE INTERNET WEBSITE OF SUCH LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICES OFFICE, MUNICIPALITY,
 NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION OR SUBSIDIARY A LIST OF EVERY HOTEL, MOTEL OR
 SIMILAR  ESTABLISHMENT  UNDER  CONTRACT  TO  PROVIDE HOUSING TO HOMELESS
 PERSONS, THE DURATION OF SUCH CONTRACT AND THE VALUE OF SUCH CONTRACT.
   2. EACH LOCAL SOCIAL  SERVICES  OFFICE,  MUNICIPALITY,  NOT-FOR-PROFIT
 CORPORATION OR SUBSIDIARY THEREOF SHALL MAKE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE ON THEIR
 INTERNET WEBSITE INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CONTRACTS WITH A NOT-FOR-PRO-
 FIT  ORGANIZATION,  AND  IF APPLICABLE ANY SUBCONTRACTOR OF THE NOT-FOR-
 PROFIT ORGANIZATION, WHO PROVIDE SERVICES AT SUCH HOTEL, MOTEL OR  SIMI-
 LAR ESTABLISHMENT BEING USED AS HOMELESS HOUSING. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL
 INCLUDE:
   (A) THE NAME OF SUCH NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION AND IF APPLICABLE THE
 NAME OF ANY SUBCONTRACTOR OF THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION;
   (B)  THE  SERVICE  OR  SERVICES  BEING PROVIDED BY SUCH NOT-FOR-PROFIT
 ORGANIZATION AND IF APPLICABLE THE SERVICE OR SERVICES BEING PROVIDED BY
 ANY SUBCONTRACTOR OF THE  NOT-FOR-PROFIT  ORGANIZATION  AT  SUCH  HOTEL,
 MOTEL OR SIMILAR ESTABLISHMENT;
