 AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation  to  the
   use of New York grown hops by farm breweries
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 11  of  section  51-a  of  the
 alcoholic  beverage  control law, as added by chapter 108 of the laws of
 2012, is amended to read as follows:
   (a) Except as provided in  paragraph  (b)  of  this  subdivision,  [no
 licensed  farm brewery shall manufacture or sell any beer other than New
 York state labelled beer] A LICENSED FARM BREWERY SHALL  MANUFACTURE  OR
 SELL  NEW YORK LABELLED BEER AND MAY MANUFACTURE OR SELL BEER OTHER THAN
 NEW YORK LABELLED BEER PROVIDED THAT THE TOTAL ANNUAL AGGREGATE OF  HOPS
 USED  BY  THE  FARM  BREWERY  LICENSEE  IS NO LESS THAN SIXTY PERCENT BY
 WEIGHT GROWN IN NEW YORK STATE AND THAT THE TOTAL AGGREGATE USE OF OTHER
 INGREDIENTS EXCEPT WATER IS NO LESS THAN SIXTY PERCENT BY  WEIGHT  GROWN
 IN NEW YORK.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
